To mark the 40^th anniversary of Tasdance and its future as part of Assembly 197, it was important to create something that visually honoured the history of Tasdance, but also looked forward to its future. This was achieved through the use of archived imagery that was used in a modern and fresh way. A rich kaleidoscope of colours were employed, to evoke the sense of diversity and vibrancy in Tasdance works, creativity and the people it collaborates with, within cubist shapes to signal the building blocks and milestones that have shaped Tasdance over the years. These concepts flowed throughout all aspects of the 40th anniversary project, with each piece in the mid-season program assigned its own colour to visually define the diversity of work pursued.
